We love the outdoors and camping. There is a lot of choice when it comes to a tent and we still haven't decide what would work best for us, so until today we use cheap tents that are, well, just fine.
But than a came across this... WOW!
These tents are handmade of canvas and hand dyed to order, what makes each tent unique.

baby vibes

Yesterday we celebrated one month of baby vibes in the house. And what a wonderful vibe it is!
So much has changed in only one month. From having a lot of time to spend for me, myself and I to being busy changing diapers, feeding and comforting a little baby. But I love (almost ;-) ) every bit of it.

I love how she 'finds' me when hearing my voice, the concentration on that little face before she gives one of her sparkling smiles. I can only smile back until it hurts and tears pop up in my eyes.
We all love kissing her tiny fists, that cute little nose and those scrumptious cheeks. As a family I feel so strongly connected. It is amazing to see how all this love is happening, how they try to comfort her and take care. She is blessed with a big brother who keeps saying how pretty and sweet she is. A big sister that sings for her when she is restless and another big sis who's extremely proud because Mia is a master in squinting (big sis needed to practise that for weeks).

We celebrated it with carrot cake, I will share the recipe in another post.

Since I delivered from my youngest, 4 weeks ago, my body needs some serious health boosters.
So, hello there green juices! This one is made from two hands full baby spinach, one persian cucumber, two green apples and one lime.

In the first post a bit more about me.

My name is Hinke, thirty something, married with a great hobby cook who took me abroad to the Middle East, living here for 4 years now. Together we have one son (14) and three daughters (10, 6, 0). They all rock this circus, called life.

As a family we love to travel, preferably with a car, a tent and a full coolbox (or two or three). Oman is the perfect country for camping trips, you will definitely find pictures from those trips in this space.

I am a creative at heart, intended to do lots of things at the same time, what makes my head spin. So, aiming for a slow, simple and intentional lifestyle keeps me grounded.

I love cooking, and of course eating. Healthy food for me and my family is the priority, eating sugarless but not sugarfree. I have a massive sweet tooth, you know.

I love the handmade, made by myself or by supporting other crafters and small brands. Most of my projects include textile, I have a huge love for all kinds of fabrics and threads. I have a big cupboard full of these goodies, sometimes just to look at...

I am a photography-self-study-student, soaking up everything offered at ClickinMoms. I have a long, long way to go, but enjoy every bit of it. A good picture (well, good enough for me) gives me so much pleasure.

Creativity means for me; keep on learning new things.
